Competing for AYSO United Davis in NorCal Premier League allowed teams to find the correct level of local competition for them. Most away games were within 40 minutes of Davis and brackets were formed that kept many games very close leading to more fun and more growth.

United referees, led by Jerry Gonzales and Moe Shafai, created a safe, fun, and fair environment at Nugget Fields. Spectators from both United and opponents appreciated the quality fields, easy access to, and overall atmosphere of our home. We introduced a new field layout to further support our referees!

2010G blue made it in to the quarterfinals of U13 Bronze state cup. 2010B white made it all the way to the finals of the Bronze cup but couldn't quite bring it home. Congratulations to coaches, players, and parents for a great season together with more to come in the Spring!

Over 300 hours of coaching education was completed; culminating in all United coaches having a USSF 11v11 License or higher.

Teams used their VOICEs to support community organizations including STEAC, Yolo Food Bank, and Davis AYSO. Initial estimates are over 500 hours of service completed by the organization.

United families were asked to complete a brief survey about their experience with the United program from June - November 2022.102 families responded

When asked to give 1-3 highlights of the overall experience one thing stood out: Great coaching

90% of respondents rated their coaching team with the highest rating. Many mentioned that their coaches were experienced, emphasized team bonding and whole player development, and set the right intensity for training sessions.

As one parent on the survey put it "Excellent skills and technique taught along with a lot of fun and team spirit..a winning combination"

This Fall United introduced college coaches to multiple teams. These are current college students with a passion for the sport (many playing club soccer for UC Davis) and interest in coaching.

A parent had this to say about their players college coach: "Really appreciate coach-G’s contribution to the coaching staff. Good role model, knowledgeable, relatable coaching advice, can also

Other words and sentiments that popped up repeatedly were positive, growth, great atmosphere, and supportive.

AYSO United Davis is excited to continue to deliver a soccer experience grounded in AYSO Philosophies and aligned with the advanced development needs of youth players in our community. One thing is becoming clear during our second year as a club: our person-focused environment uses soccer as a tool to develop young people into the best versions of themselves. Community based soccer programs don't just develop great athletes but great people and great communities as well.
