Tryouts for 2023/2024 teams are now complete. If you are interested in a drop in tryout please email us at [email protected]. We anticipate opening try out registration for our 23/24 teams in early March.

The May tryouts are free, open to all players and designed to allow players to showcase their skills. Teams will be formed from 11U (2013 birthyear) to 19U (2005 birthyear).Tryouts take place at Nugget Fields at 1801 Moore Blvd Davis, CA 95618.

Once you are pre-registered further information will be provided on check-in procedures and what to expect at tryouts. You can expect this information in early April and again about a week before tryouts. Please send questions to [email protected] and we'll get back to you.

Tryout Schedule

Tryouts for our 2013-2010 birth year teams will take place May 15-17, 2023
Tryouts for our 2009-2005 birth year teams will take place May 22-24, 2023

All girls and 2010 boys will tryout from 5:00-6:00pm each night, check-in begins at 4:45.
2013-2011 and 2009-2005 boys will tryout from 6:30-7:30pm each night, check-in begins at 6:15.

NOTE: 2010 boys tryout time was changed as of 5/12 10am. This is the final schedule change.

It is important to come to as many days of tryouts as possible to allow for coaches to evaluate players. Please contact us if any issues or conflicts arise.

What to Expect at Tryouts

The United tryout experience aims to identify the appropriate player pathway for each individual that attends. Players can expect to check-in, warm-up, and then showcase their skills by working individually and in teams to have fun and play soccer.

There will be two tryout periods depending on the birth year of the player.

Players should plan to attend as many tryouts dates as possible. If a player would like to be considered for a United team, they must attend at least one tryout date. If there are circumstances that make this impossible for your player or family (e.g., current injury), please reach out to [email protected] to discuss.

Equipment: Please ensure your player has plenty of water, shin guards, and socks that cover them.

Check-In: Arrive 15 minutes prior to your tryout time and find the tent and table for your players birth year. A volunteer will ensure United has all information needed, hand your player their tryout number, and direct them to their field.

Parents are not allowed on the field during tryouts.

Offer Process: Families will find out by the Sunday after tryouts if their player has been offered a position on a United team for the 23/24 season.
