AYSO United Davis

With the start of the AYSO United Davis 2024/2025, we are calling on teams, fans and community members to join in the club’s annual team camp.  Beginning June 24, players will do soccer in the morning. Then we will come together in service of our community or for team bonding activites in the afternoon. The club will suggest a different volunteer project or activity each day. Together, volunteer groups will complete over 250 hours of community service.

Soccer is from 9am -11am Monday June 24 - Friday June 28

Monday

Monday, June 24 – Park Clean Up!

We encourage teams to organize a meet up at a City of Davis Park and spend a half hour picking up litter or weeding in the park. Teams could then picnic, have popsicles, or hang out for longer if they wish.

When: Anytime on Monday, spend a half hour as a group.
Where: A park of your choosing. Sign up your team to adopt a park for the day here
What: Weed out foxtails around the park and/or pick up litter and deposit in the city trash can.
Why: Our collective action will help our environment and enjoyment of the great parks! Noxious weeds at the parks include foxtails. There are community movements to reduce litter like Davis Picks It Up (they are hosting a litter pick-up event on June 23 8:30-10:30am) and the City has a formal adopt a park programs for teams interested.
