Throughout the next year, AYSO United Davis will be promoting opportunities with local Davis organizations for players and families.
Today, we share an opportunity to sign up for two different bi-weekly strength and conditioning sessions being offered by Performance 22 this summer in downtown Davis. These sessions are geared toward youth athletes, particularly those in junior high and high school. The sessions (offered separately in July and in August) will help players increase their speed and power, build up their strength and conditioning, and be less prone to injuries during the season. The program is designed to help young athletes develop strength and confidence in movement that enables them to excel in sports.

Former UC Davis and other college athletes (all Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialists with a focus on youth athletes) lead the sessions. The United team that participated in the P22 session this spring had lots of fun doing so!
Two different sessions will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays in July (starting on July 5):
